Who We Are
Global Perspective Inc.
Global Perspective was registered as a business in 2007 and later as a company, Global Perspective Inc. (GPI), from August 8, 2008. The firm has implemented over 50 assignments for organisations such as Guyana Ministry of Legal Affairs, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO), Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC), National Assembly (Guyana), United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), PAHO/WHO, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), European Union (EU), Caribbean Environmental Health Institute (CEHI), and other Government Ministries and agencies in Guyana. Experts and Specialists are recruited as required to work on projects.

Our Vision is to be a Consultancy Firm of excellence in the development arena providing services that are essentially, strongly focused on impact, sustainability, structure, and bringing greater definition to development processes, locally, regionally, and internationally.
MISSION
Our Mission is to assist in bridging the gaps in the development business and investment by providing the highest calibre of professional services, advice, and facilitation to Governments, Government Agencies, the International and National Donor Community, International and Regional Organisations, Private Sector Organisations, Civil Society Organisations and other players in the development, business and investment arena, to address challenges as they strive to improve the quality of life and increase choices for citizens, as well as products and services.

Ms. Audreyanna Thomas
Managing Director and Head Rule of Law Section
Ms. Audreyanna Thomas is a Sustainable Development Practitioner with extensive training and experience in sustainable development both internationally and locally. She holds a Masters Degree in Rule of Law for Development, Postgraduate Certificate in Cross-Sector Partnerships at the Masters Level, a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Communication, a Diploma in Public Communication and participated in Masters Level Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business.
Ms. Thomas has extensive experience in social development. Over the past 20 years she has worked at senior management and consulting levels in; organisational/institutional development (Strategic planning/strategy development/strategy implementation), change management partnership and team building, community development, communication, facilitation, project coordination and management, governance (including cross-sectoral governance and corporate governance); and more recently, rule of law (International Investment Law/International Investment Treaties, Human Rights, Conflict Management (International Arbitration, Mediation, etc.) and corporate management.
Dr. Harold Davis Jr.
Senior Advisor/Programme Director and Head Environmental Management and Climate Change
Dr. Harold Davis is a Scientist and management executive who holds a PhD in Soil Chemistry. He has served as the Chief Executive of the Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc. (GuySuCo) and has also been the Agricultural Director at GuySuCo for many years.
He has spent several years delivering technical expertise to agriculture, the sugarcane industry, drainage, irrigation and coastal management projects, soil sciences, including fertility and land management/development, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and environmental management within South America, the Caribbean and Pacific Islands.
He is highly effective in project management, research programme planning and management, corporate management, and strategic planning.
Dr. Davis author/ co-author of over 100 reports, presentations and refereed papers covering a wide range of subject matters including ethanol and renewable energy from sugarcane and soil conservation and reduced tillage.
Mr. Paul Bhim
Finance Director and Head of Business and Investment
Mr. Paul Bhim is a Finance and Business Administration Expert. He is a certified Chartered Accountant and graduated has qualifications in Management and has been a member of the Associate Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 1993
He has been the Finance and Marketing Director at the Guyana Sugar Corporation Inc. (GuySuCo) for over 15 years and acted the Chief Executive. The Guyana Sugar Corporation until recently, had over 18,000 employees.
Mr. Bhim is also having specific expertise in, Corporate Management, Financial and Cost Evaluation, Project Analysis and Business performance modelling and now has a keen interest in climate finance.
Mr. Emil Mc Garrell
Operations Director and Head of Governance
Mr. Emil Mc Garrell holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Economics. He has served as in the position of Permanent Secretary from 2007 to 2020, with the Ministries of Amerindian Affairs; Housing and Water; Communities and Local Government and Regional Development in Guyana.
His experience include: Public policy and administration and policy implementation, programme and project development in Housing, Water, Local Government and Regional Development in the Social Sector, strategic planning and implementation of the strategic development plans and projects and project management.
He has also served at the Ministry of Finance in Guyana as a Senior State Planner.
